Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a new opportunity with a growing manufacturing company? Our client in East Chicago, IN is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a 1st shift, full time position with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $25.00+/hr depending on experience. PPE will be provided along with reimbursement for steel toe boots.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Determine proper speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce quality parts
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues
- Maintain program, tooling, and production documentation
- Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections
- Utilize CAD and 3D modeling software as needed
Requirements:
- Previous CNC programming experience (MAZAK, HAAS, and Milltronics machines)
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, and Fusion)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of CNC speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software (preferred)
- Work independently, and with a team
- Background check and drug test
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
